Maple students are going to have a big presentation event this Sunday, March 27.

This is to support Fair Trade, which is not widely known in Japan, especially in a rural city like Okayama. The older students are to make presentations not just to raise awareness of but to find solutions to big problems such as child labor, poverty, environmental problems.

Our students have been working very hard for the past few months. Some of the high school students have been involved in organizing the event: finding sponsors, designing posters, starting a homepage for the cause, handing out flyers and instructing small children.

Your support means a lot to the children. We believe small actions like this can make a difference in the world. Come and see us and spread the word.
